History
Ally's Attic was established in 1996, as a family business in Lilburn,
GA. The store was originally developed soon after the birth of
our first daughter, Ally.
After working as an engineer at Scientific Atlanta, I found it
difficult to juggle a corporate career with a young child. I
wanted the time to raise my family but still have the opportunity to
use m education. Starting our own business became the perfect
solution. Another daughter later, Ally and Kalan, we are still
going strong and have been able to create a wonderful following of
loyal customers.
Our first
location was in a shopping center on Hwy. 78 where the Lowe's is now.
In 1997, we opened a second location in Lawrenceville and we took a
professional partner, Paula, to help manage that location. Soon
after, we were forced to relocate the Hwy. 78 location and decided
Snellville would be a perfect place. We have been at the present
locations for about 10 years.
